Description
Schools across America are celebrating reading this week, so younger readers and their families are invited to Brecksville Nature Center to celebrate a love of reading and the 120th birthday of children’s author, Dr. Seuss. The day will be filled with whimsical stories, crafts, photo ops, and activities.

10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Celebrate Reading Event: Crafts, photo ops and activities
Brecksville Nature Center
10:30 a.m. Fireside Story – “Oh, the Thinks You Can Think” by Dr.Seuss
11:15 a.m. Fireside Story – “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss
Noon Fireside Story – “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss
Fireside Story – “Oh, the Thinks You Can Think”
In celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, join a tongue twisting good time as they read “Oh, the Thinks You Can Think” written in 1975.
10:30 – 10:45 a.m.
Fireside Story – “Oh, the Places You’ll Go”
In celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, join a reading of “Oh, the Places You’ll Go”. In this story he manages to pass along a lifetime of wisdom for young and old alike.
11:15 – 11:35 a.m.
Fireside Story – “Green Eggs and Ham”
In celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, join a tongue twisting good time as they read one of his classic stories, “Green Eggs and Ham”, published in 1960.
