Rescue Village hosts summer camps for children ages 9-12 to provide an educational—and enjoyable—experience and a unique summertime opportunity.
Our campers meet fascinating guests (both human and non-human) and help to enrich the lives of our shelter animals through:
-Making and baking shelter animal treats
-Socializing puppies and/or kittens
-Learning about other animal organizations/rescues through guest speakers
-Increasing awareness through conservation projects
-Making shelter animal blankets
-Helping shelter animals get adopted
